Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 20, 2026
LeadSpry ("we", "our", or "us") operates the LeadSpry Chrome extension and website at https://leadspry.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
Information We Collect
Chrome Extension
- Business lead data — names, emails, phones, websites, and addresses extracted from Google Maps listings you choose to scrape. This data is stored locally in your browser unless you choose to sync to your LeadSpry account.
- API keys — if you connect the extension to your LeadSpry dashboard, your API key is stored locally in Chrome storage on your device.
- Website content — when email enrichment is enabled, the extension fetches publicly accessible business websites to find contact emails. No data is sent to our servers during local extraction.
Web Platform
- Account information — email address and password when you create an account.
- Lead database — leads you sync from the extension or import into your dashboard.
- Email account credentials — if you connect an email account for Unibox, SMTP/IMAP credentials are stored encrypted in our database to sync and send replies on your behalf.
- Campaign data — email templates, personalized messages, and sending history.
How We Use Your Information
- Provide lead extraction, email validation, campaign, and inbox services
- Sync leads between your extension and cloud dashboard
- Generate AI-personalized email content when you create campaigns
- Send and receive emails on your behalf when you use campaign and Unibox features
- Improve our services and fix technical issues
Data Storage & Security
Extension scraping runs entirely in your browser by default. Cloud-synced data is stored in our PostgreSQL database with per-user access controls ensuring you can only access your own data. We use HTTPS for all API communication.
Third-Party Services
- OpenAI — AI email personalization (only when you create campaigns and an API key is configured)
- Google Maps — the extension reads publicly visible listing data from pages you visit
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information or lead data. We do not share your data with third parties except as necessary to provide our services (e.g., sending emails via your configured SMTP provider).
Your Rights
You may:
- Export your leads as CSV at any time
- Delete your account and associated data by contacting support@leadspry.com
- Clear locally stored extension data via the extension popup
- Revoke API keys from your dashboard settings
Chrome Web Store
Our extension requires permissions to access Google Maps pages (for lead extraction) and business websites (for email enrichment). The storage permission saves your leads locally. The downloads permission exports CSV files. We request only the permissions necessary for stated functionality.
